Key Responsibilities
  • Pull parts from inventory and supply to mechanics and field maintenance.
  • Ownership of the parts room and parts.
  • Issue parts on repair orders.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory counts.
  • Keep the warehouse in a neat and tidy order.
  • Source parts from suppliers and work with procurement on purchasing.
  • Manage bin locations, part numbers, min/max and dead inventory.
  • Ship and receive materials as needed.
  • Adhere to Tiger's Safety Management System policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Parts Technician certification would be considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
  • Experience working with bin locations, part numbers, safety stock and min/max.
  • Experience with cycle counts and inventory counts.
  • Experience with data entry on work orders.
  • Five years + experience working with industrial, heavy-duty truck parts and consumables in a transportation shop.
  • Attention to detail with strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience working with consignment inventory.
  • Experience with TMT software application would be considered an asset.
  • Experience operating a forklift would be an asset.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements including drug and alcohol and health assessment.
