Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team at Budds' Group of Companies. As a key member of our dealership's parts department, you will be responsible for purchasing, selling, storing, and issuing parts to our customers and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parts Procurement: Determine customer needs and accurately specify parts accordingly.
  • Purchase Order Management: Create and modify purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Inventory Management: Record warranty parts returned, create special ordered parts on our dealership computer system, and review special order parts tracking.
  • Financial Management: Process and close open invoices, compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.
  • Warehouse Operations: Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued, and perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory.
  • Communication: Attend weekly department meetings and maintain open communication with internal staff and customers.
Requirements

Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
