Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Best Way Constructions. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Participate in the demolition of buildings, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, taking necessary precautions to prevent harm to people and the environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean working area.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in construction, adhering to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
