About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Newtech Renovation Inc. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assistance with Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Assistance with Framing and Construction: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, adhering to building codes and regulations.
  • Earthwork and Paving: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt as required.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance work, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Site Safety and Traffic Management: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 hours of work per week.
