Job Title: Senior Business Architect

About the Role:

  • Foster effective collaboration and communication among project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business architecture models, artefacts, and documents, adhering to industry best practices and organisational standards.
  • Lead the development of business processes using BPMN, leveraging cluster and ministry tools, and ensure alignment with corporate guidance.
  • Identify and mitigate issues and risks, facilitating project teams and clients to address them effectively.
  • Arrange and facilitate validation sessions, ensuring smooth progress and resolution of matters.
  • Develop and revise business and application architecture artefacts, adhering to cluster and corporate guidance, and leading privacy impact assessments and threat risk assessments.
  • Conduct environmental and jurisdictional scans, researching industry best practices and sharing findings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in review and information sharing meetings, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration.
  • Support Agile Enterprise Architecture delivery, developing reference architecture artefacts, and facilitating Enterprise Architecture meetings.
  • Adhere to OPS GOITS Standards, revising architectures as required, and ensuring alignment with relevant business materials.

Knowledge Transfer Requirements:

  • Knowledge transfer is expected throughout the assignment, facilitated through regular meetings, touchpoints, and working sessions with LRC staff.
  • All design development artefacts, source code, and relevant documents must be transferred to the ministry in designated repositories.
  • Dedicated knowledge transfer sessions will be scheduled to ensure completeness of knowledge transfer and documentation sharing.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience as a Business Architect.
  • Proven experience in developing business architecture artefacts and application architecture artefacts.
  • Leading all aspects of solution design, including security and privacy.
  • Architecting enterprise-scale COTS/SaaS solutions, such as Oracle Siebel.
  • Leading project teams through governance processes, including project gating and architecture governance points.
  • Experience leading project teams through the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise architecture, including integration across all domains: business, information, application, technical, and security.
