We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Emergency team at Peace Arch Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
