Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Boston Pizza Markham. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets.
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Physical Accessibility: Provide physical accessibility accommodations for customers and staff.
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
  • Welcoming Environment: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
