We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant and bar located in a vibrant urban area. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Bar Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the bar, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality drinks.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure efficient operations.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to increase sales and revenue.
  • Operations: Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Financial Management: Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits, develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and monitor revenues to determine labor cost.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Serving It Right Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership skills, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask.
