AHS is invested in Grande Prairie and has recently opened a new regional hospital and cancer centre, making it an exciting time to join their team.
As a Paramedic with AHS, you will have the opportunity to assess emergency scenes and patients, treat patients by administering medications, and transport ill or injured patients from scenes of emergency and/or between facilities. You will also lead ALS crews in delivering clinical care during patient transport or at emergency scenes.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Additionally, you must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six demerits and completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation within the past six months.
In exchange for your hard work and dedication, AHS offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. The Remote Retention Allowance of up to $3,000 per year is also available to help offset the costs of living and working in northern Alberta.
