TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead our municipal infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and construction of civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a lead point of contact on civil engineering projects, providing technical guidance and leadership to team members.
- Prepare designs and reports for land development on municipal projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and administer contracts on a timely basis, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Maintain and manage client relationships, ensuring performance goals are being met.
- Develop business relationships and opportunities with agencies, partners, and key clients.
- Provide technical and non-technical guidance and leadership to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Work closely with other departments, and coordinate to execute projects, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Minimum of BSc in Civil Engineering from a recognized Canadian institution, 12+ years of professional Canadian experience.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in BC, or able to register.
- Familiar with civil infrastructures (sites, road, water, wastewater, stormwater, grading).
- Ability to lead a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Contract administration, with experience in managing contracts and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Vehicle access, class 5 license.
- MS Office, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Competitive salary, $100,000-$150,000 annually, dependent on experience.
