About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems and services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development teams to address build issues and improve our infrastructure
  • Create, modify, and maintain pipelines and workflow tools to streamline our processes
  • Write application code to enhance various tools in our system and improve their performance
  • Work with team members to maintain and enhance our automation pipeline, ensuring it remains efficient and effective
  • Monitor automation systems and respond to support requests and outages in a timely manner
  • Manage virtual infrastructure, including deploying and monitoring containers to ensure optimal performance
  • Analyze metrics to optimize automation systems and identify areas for improvement
  • Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine their feasibility and desirability for incorporation into our products

Requirements

  • Strong experience in DevOps and a solid understanding of cloud deployments, container technologies, and infrastructure automation tools
  • Foundational programming skills and experience with source-control administration, configuration management, and continuous integration/deployment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members, both in-person and online
  • Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities, lead and delegate to team members, and identify setbacks and shortcomings
  • Active interest in the DevOps movement and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
