Diagnostic Imaging Professional

We are seeking a skilled Digital Imaging Specialist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, adhering to established standards and radiation protection practices.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Operate and maintain complex medical imaging equipment, including digital imaging systems and Radiology Information Systems (RIS/PACS).
- Ensure accurate and efficient data entry, record-keeping, and image archiving.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, addressing their concerns and answering questions in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to patients and colleagues alike.
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice and research principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- A competitive salary range of $36.69 - $45.81 CAD per hour, commensurate with experience.
