Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Guest Services
- Investigate complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
- Exchange foreign currency and assist guests with special needs.
- Front Desk Operations
- Manage front desk operations, including answering telephone calls and relaying messages.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the front desk team to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front desk role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
