We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Innovative Facility Care Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled building and floor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Conduct light duty cleaning in open desks, meeting rooms, and boardrooms, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Vacuum carpet and clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, and appliances.
- Stock supply areas and maintain a thorough knowledge of team processes and nightly expectations.
- Report lost and found items, complaints from clients, and any safety concerns or deficiencies.
- Provide general feedback about the site and participate in inventory management and requesting chemicals/supplies.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is an asset, with on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision and reliable transportation (bus or own vehicle).
- Ability to provide a criminal record check and lift 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, initiative, judgment, multi-tasking ability, and goal-oriented.
- Strong leadership and people skills, with no formal education required.
- Flexible schedules and family-oriented work culture.
