Digital Media Manager

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Digital Media Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects in a rapidly changing environment. This will involve working collaboratively with internal marketing category teams, external digital agencies, and platform partners to support both new and current digital marketing campaigns across paid search, paid social, and programmatic display and video.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and be able to use digital media expertise to inform strategic recommendations. They will also have excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate both internal and external resources in a cross-functional organization.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing strategy to reach the right audience through a variety of digital media channels
- Employing new ways of advertising within the purchase journey
- Building effective working relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic digital plans
- Monitoring digital performance across all phases of the funnel and KPIs to ensure we continually achieve and exceed targets while maintaining a positive return on investment
- Collaborating with media agencies to produce meaningful post-campaign analysis and improve the value of our digital advertising through relentless testing, targeting, and refining plans
- Facilitating good project management as it relates to communication, understanding, efficiency, timing, cost, and post-mortem analysis
- Becoming a brand and product expert and an extension of the category teams, while providing consultative recommendations for all aspects of media
- Managing digital media budgets and allocating funding across the full funnel to ensure strategic objectives are met
- Becoming an expert in all digital media channels that Dyson executes paid against (search, social, display and video)
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in digital media and marketing. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience. Previous experience working with media agencies is a plus, as is eCommerce experience and marketing products and services online for a consumer brand.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with experience working with web analytics reporting tools. They will also have strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely across various levels within the organization.
