About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at K-VET PETCARE CANADA INC. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery and anesthesia
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other veterinary care team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in veterinary technology or a related field
  • Experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
