Job Title: Veterinary Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Oncologist to join our team at Canada West Veterinary Specialists and Critical Care Hospital.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer in animals, as well as providing expert advice on animal care and welfare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat cancer in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests
  • Prescribe medication, perform surgery, and provide other treatments as needed
  • Advise clients on animal care and welfare, including feeding, housing, and behavior
  • Perform routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle physical demands of the job
Requirements:
  • Degree in veterinary medicine or a related field
  • Experience in veterinary oncology or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to perform duties of the job
