Job Responsibilities:
Producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents in compliance with Owner's Statement of Requirements.
Collaborating with project teams to ensure designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements, and regulations.
Providing technical design solutions for facility construction, including interior and exterior assemblies.
Coordinating internal production teams and coordinating with project sub-consultants.
Providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
Assisting with contract administration, including site visits and working with construction contractors.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
You will also need 10+ years' experience working as an Architectural Technologist for an Architectural consulting firm.
You must have experience in commercial, institutional, healthcare, or industrial project types.
Candidates must demonstrate substantial product knowledge and an ability to detail architectural building systems.
They must also be able to put together full drawing packages suitable for tender.
REVIT software experience is necessary.
Preference given to candidates with understanding of BIM principles & workflows; Microsoft 365 environment; construction site experience; and Bluebeam.
