Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Registration Clerk to join our team at the Vancouver Island Health Authority. In this role, you will be responsible for registering and scheduling clients, as well as providing excellent customer service. About the Position

This Casual position offers a range of shift options, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. You will work at our FBA Only site with rotating days off, which provides a great work-life balance. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Registering and scheduling clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
  • Utilizing specialized software applications and office equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must possess Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Your skills and qualifications should include:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to keyboard at 45 wpm.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to operate related office equipment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
