Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Imperial Fabricating. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Software Management: Manage and maintain our accounting software, ensuring accurate and efficient financial data processing.
  • Expense and Income Reporting: Prepare expense and income reports, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconciliation and Analysis: Reconcile accounts, analyze financial data, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
