About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Nussbaum Law Professional Corporation. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Bookkeeping: Establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Reports: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reports.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Payment Processing: Receive and issue payments, including processing invoices and making payments to vendors.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
