Lafarge Africa Plc is a leading building solutions company in North America, dedicated to serving the region's construction industry. As a key player in the aggregates market, we are seeking a talented Aggregate Sales Representative to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales principles and a passion for developing business relationships. As an Aggregate Sales Representative, you will work closely with our Area Sales Team to understand our aggregates business, including customers, products, and markets.

This role is part of Lafarge's New Graduate Development Path (NGDP), a two-year journey that provides new graduates with opportunities to connect with other new grads, gain exposure to various aspects of the Lafarge business, and embark on their own learning and development journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a role model in safety, environmental stewardship, leadership, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Learn the aggregates sales function, including customers, products, markets, and logistics.
  • Utilize sales tools like Qlikview for sales reporting to support commercial business.
  • Investigate initiatives around new markets and products.
  • Assist the sales team in customer discussions and other functions.
Requirements:
  • Recently obtained University Degree or College Diploma.
  • Up to 2 years of construction industry experience.
  • Experience with SalesForce, Apex, and SAP is an asset.
