Chipper Crew Worker

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our manufacturing facility as a Chipper Crew Worker. This is an entry-level position that offers on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Maintenance: Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the site, ensuring a safe environment for coworkers, customers, and visitors.
- Maintenance and Repair: Rotate through various tasks and responsibilities within your assigned area, adhering to schedules to maintain production timeliness. Apply knowledge, skills, and experience to analyze and troubleshoot issues, communicating with your team lead and maintenance.
- Safety and Teamwork: Take responsibility for contributing to a safe work environment and demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with coworkers.
Requirements:
- Safety Mindset: A strong safety-driven mindset, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Manual Tasks: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long hours, walk, shovel, climb stairs, and bend.
- Equipment Experience: Experience with or around machinery and equipment is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Teamwork and Communication: Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Urgency and Attention: A high degree of urgency and attention to detail.
- First Aid: Level 3 First Aid is considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $32.45 per hour.
