Key Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and Training: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that products are always available for customers.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.

Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth to help them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.

Work Environment: This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
