Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Language Instructor to join our team on an as-needed basis. As a Supply Instructor, you will deliver language instruction in one of our core languages: Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Tagalog, Spanish, Mandarin, or Ukrainian. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality instruction to students in Barrie, working under the direction of the Principal, Continuing and Community Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver language instruction to students in Barrie, as required
  • Work under the direction of the Principal, Continuing and Community Education
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements
  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience working with children in a learning environment
  • Proven ability to work in both a co-operative and independent environment
  • Demonstrated time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • Previous experience with Continuing Education is an asset
  • First Aid Certification is an asset
