Job Title: Supply International Language Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply International Language Instructor to join our team at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. As a Supply International Language Instructor, you will be responsible for providing language instruction to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Provide language instruction to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and online platforms
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement language programs
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma plus additional teacher training/or training in language teaching methodologies; university degree preferred
  • Teaching Degree/experience from other countries will be considered
  • Language teaching experience in the Canadian classroom
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluently in the target language
  • Ability to develop daily lesson plan and execute lessons for students with varying abilities and language skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
