About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to lead our Clothing department at Weston Road. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, coaching and developing your team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
- Coach and develop your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage and maintain a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback and coaching, and recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies and improve customer experiences.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry an asset.
