About the Role:

As an Enterprise Architecture Lead, you will oversee the implementation of technical solutions that support Scotiabank's business goals. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand the organization's structure, policies, and operations, and recommending suitable technical and business solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze complex business requirements to generate technical specifications for designing or redesigning software components and applications.
- Develop, architect, design, and implement highly distributed global systems.
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions that meet quality security and compliance requirements.
- Foster a culture of innovation by researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Security, Infrastructure, Data, etc., to drive the implementation of trusted policies and standards.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global systems.
- Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with expertise in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
- Experience in modernizing legacy systems or similar transformational initiatives.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- In-depth understanding of coding languages and logic structures, as well as sound knowledge of various operating systems, databases, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
