About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our team at Victoria Gymnastics Downtown. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Instruction: Plan, develop, and implement training and practice sessions for gymnasts of various skill levels.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhancement.
  • Prospect Evaluation: Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve.
  • First Aid and Support: Administer first-aid and other assistance as needed to ensure the health and well-being of our athletes.
  • Team Management: Participate in coaching clinic instruction, working with other coaches to develop and implement training programs.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Work Environment: Our gym is a non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: This is a gymnastics-focused role, requiring a strong understanding of gymnastics techniques and principles.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
