Golf Course Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Golf Course Worker at Clublink. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the golf course is well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain the course's aesthetic appeal.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep the course clean and tidy.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to promote healthy growth.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
Work Environment:

As a Golf Course Worker, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in wet/damp conditions, and be exposed to dust, noise, and heat.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical capabilities: Ability to lift heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, dependability, organized, reliability, and team player.
