We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Caretaker to join our team at ALMAC MOTOR HOTEL. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our hotel, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, and empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Supervision and Safety: Supervise other workers, perform safety and security checks, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as repetitive tasks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
