Join Boston Scientific, a global medical technology leader, as a Principal Advanced Development Engineer in our Electrophysiology Division. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to collaborate in the design and development of novel algorithms and tools for cutting-edge medical applications in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive project research, development, and feasibility assessment in preparation for implementation.
- Design, develop, optimize, and implement AI solutions for complex problems considering accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Produce maintainable code and technical documentation.
- Effectively collaborate across disciplines (HW, Software, Systems, and ME) to focus on and maximize end-to-end solution value.
- Provide technical leadership on a high-performing motivated team.
- Stay current with industry trends and new methodologies including artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent with at least 5 years of product development experience in a commercial environment.
- Experience training AI models using various techniques and tools.
- Domain expertise in Computer Vision, Geometric Computing, and Machine Learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
- Creative solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated proficiency in C++, MATLAB/Python, or equivalent for prototyping, modeling, data analysis, and application development.
- Ability to work with ambiguity to balance risk and opportunity.
- Passion for developing talent, mentoring, and building high-performance teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information in a clear and thorough manner.
- Demonstrated history of learning new platforms and development environments to best meet project needs.
