Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. They will also fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Working in confined spaces, dusty environments, and construction sites.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Large workload and tight deadlines.
- Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, judgement, reliability, and team player.
- Experience an asset.
- Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent physical capabilities, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and combination of sitting, standing, walking.
