We are seeking a skilled Boat Carpenter to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in confined spaces, dusty environments, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will also be required to fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Our team works on a variety of projects, including construction, marine works, and millwork/pre-fab shopwork. We are looking for someone who is accurate, efficient, and has excellent oral and written communication skills.

The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. If you are a team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for woodworking, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Working in confined spaces, dusty environments, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
