Chief Administrative Director

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to join the Town of Gander as our Chief Administrative Officer. Located in the heart of Newfoundland and Labrador, Gander is a vibrant community that offers a unique blend of rich heritage and modern growth.

Our town is home to a diverse population of approximately 130 staff, and we are committed to providing exceptional service and opportunities for growth and development.

As our Chief Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for leading our team and driving strategic growth and development in the Town. This role requires a senior management professional with experience in governance, collaboration, and communication. You will provide highly effective advice and guidance to our Mayor, Council, and structures, and develop and implement policies and strategies that address the unique qualities and business needs of the Town.

• This is a senior management position requiring a post-secondary degree in Public Administration or equivalent.
• You will have at least 5 years' experience in management within a progressive and growing environment.
• Prior experience working in a municipal services setting is an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000-$150,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
