We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Transition Specialist to join our team at Irving Oil Limited. As a key member of our Energy Transition Team, you will play a critical role in executing our strategic plan to achieve our long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and assess new opportunities to evolve our business in hydrogen, understanding and enhancing our competitive position in all markets and meeting the changing needs of our customers.
- Work with project teams, internal and external stakeholders to understand, gather information, and synthesize findings into deliverables and opportunities.
- Actively understand new and emerging opportunities in the hydrogen and new energy solutions sector to strategically position our organization.
- Develop business cases, financial modeling, strategic alignment, and execution of various opportunities.
- Provide recommendations in business development, including new and emerging markets and/or mergers & acquisitions, viability of partnerships.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership in project management, engineering, technical, and/or commercial roles linked to energy production.
- Proven experience as a Strategic Planner, Project Manager, or Business Consultant.
- BSc/BA in Engineering, Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MSc/MA/MBA is an added asset.
