Job Title: Construction Worker

We are seeking a skilled Construction Worker to join our team at LAND AND LAKE CUSTOM HOMES LTD. in Anglais.

Job Description:

Job Summary: As a Construction Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks on a construction site, including loading and unloading materials, measuring weights, and performing pre-operational inspections. You will also be involved in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, as well as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Measuring weights to prepare for rigging and hoisting
  • Performing pre-operational inspections
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity
