About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Worker to join our team at Land and Lake Custom Homes Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
  • Measure Weight to Prepare for Rigging and Hoisting
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspection
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials Such as Concrete and Asphalt
  • Assist in Drilling and Blasting Rock on Construction Sites
  • Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs
  • Level Earth to Fine Grade Specifications
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites
  • Tend or Feed Machines or Equipment Used in Construction
Requirements
  • 2 Years to Less Than 3 Years of Experience
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure
  • Physically Demanding Work
  • Ability to Handle Heavy Loads
  • Attention to Detail
  • Hand-Eye Coordination
  • Overtime Required
  • Sound Discrimination
