Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at McDonald's. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Load buspans and trays with dishes, glassware, and flatware, and operate dishwashers to wash items.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and place them in storage areas.
  • Keep records of food quantities used and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliability, team player, and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude and client focus.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 60 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, with a physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
