We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at Mariposa Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, examining patients, planning physiotherapy programs, and selecting appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations. They will also maintain clinical and progress reports, confer with other health professionals, teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, and administer evaluative tests and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Assessment and Treatment: Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their mobility and function.
- Education and Training: Teach patients and their families about proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and disease management.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication with patients and their families.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
- Experience: Willingness to train and develop skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Certifications and Licenses: Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, punctuality, client focus, and judgement.
