Job Title: Diesel Locomotive Repairman/Woman

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Locomotive Repairman/Woman to join our team at BMS Mechanical Group.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel locomotives, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel locomotives to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory as needed
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T)
  • Experience with diesel locomotive repair and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
