Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at SUE SUN. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and feeding.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking.
  • Change non-sterile dressings.
  • Collect specimens.
  • Feed or assist in feeding.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Mend clothing and linens.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Provide companionship.
  • Provide personal care.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

  • Work in employer's/client's home.
