Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Server Engineer to join our team at Push Interactions, Inc. as a Backend Developer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality server software code using Python and Django.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver backend services that power our mobile applications.
  • Build sophisticated and secure web applications for clients, including large web apps with complex databases.
  • Participate in code reviews, estimating projects, and contributing ideas to improve our development processes.
  • Assist in mentoring junior developers and driving the team to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of development experience with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Expert-level skills in Python and Django.
  • Ability to craft new API specifications and develop to provided specifications.
  • Drive to build and maintain high-quality software that meets the needs of our clients.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Initiative to deliver working software quickly and effectively.
  • Experience with Git and other version control systems.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in relevant server development technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Django experience.
  • Experience with Google App Engine.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with unit testing and test automation tools.
  • Experience developing web services and APIs for mobile apps to consume.
