In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating local and international shipments of our products, organizing transportation for supply, maintaining shipment logbooks, and ensuring conformity of shipments to customer orders. You will also negotiate rates with carriers, organize shipments for trade shows, and collaborate with the Chamber of Commerce and embassies during document legalization processes.
To succeed in this function, you will be accompanied by excellent onboarding, training, a mentor, and coaching. A typical day in this role will involve working closely with Julie and the team to achieve cost reduction objectives, maintain up-to-date processes and procedures, and participate in the achievement of business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a college degree in transportation logistics or a related field, relevant experience, a good command of the English language, knowledge of international transportation regulations, and proficiency in ERP software. Strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as strong customer service skills, are essential for success in this role.
