Butcher - Meat Cutter

About the Role
Finch Super Market & Meat is seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat, as well as wrapping and packaging prepared meats.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
- Wrap and package prepared meats.
- Remove bones from meat.
- Weigh meats for sale.
- Cut poultry into parts.
- Price meat products.
- Sell meats to customers.
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers.
- Grind meats.
- Train meat cutters.
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products.
Requirements
- Manual cutting utensil experience.
- Power grinder experience.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle heavy loads.
- Hand-eye co-ordination.
