Job Description

This is a permanent full-time role that involves performing repairs and preventive maintenance services on our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a 310T Licensed Mechanic designation and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing repairs and preventive maintenance services on our fleet of vehicles and equipment
  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension brake, and air systems
  • Utilizing vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes
  • Estimating time and material costs on vehicle repairs
  • Performing service calls for emergency breakdowns
  • Conducting safety checks on all vehicles and equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Working alongside apprentices to provide guidance and support
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A 310T Licensed Mechanic designation
  • A valid "G" driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience with welding (an asset)
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
