Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Madoc, Ontario. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a crucial role in providing day-to-day support, including payroll and benefits, while also contributing to corporate HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR support to employees, addressing their inquiries and concerns professionally and collaboratively with relevant departments.
  • Recruit and hire hourly employees, ensuring the site has the right people with the right skills in the right positions.
  • Contribute to corporate HR projects, programs, and initiatives, providing valuable insights and support to the broader HR team.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee the complete onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive proper training and orientation.
  • First-line support of site leadership on all matters related to employee issues and challenges.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Relevant three (3) years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of HR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
