Job Title: Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist to join our team at Jade Xpress. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for planning and adjusting routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and adjust routes using computer equipment, GPS, and other navigation devices
  • Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

Certifications and Licenses:

  • AZ class license
