Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Load and unload goods
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience an asset
  • International, long-haul, national, provincial/territorial, regional transportation/travel experience
  • Communication systems experience (GPS, navigation equipment, trip recorder)
