Strategic Communications Director for Business Banking

We are seeking a seasoned communications professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Canadian Business Banking Communications. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in developing and executing strategic Group Head communications that advance the Business Bank's narrative in a differentiated way.
The successful candidate will lead internal and external communications planning and execution, act as a senior relationship manager and strategic comms advisor at executive tables, and collaborate closely with partners and stakeholders to shape engagement opportunities for the Group Head. You will also be responsible for managing complex issues and changes within Business Banking, both internal and external.
To be successful in this role, you should have 10-12 years of experience in communications or a related field, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to develop and implement innovative business line and executive communications plans. Strong interest in world news and broader issues and trends is also desirable.
We offer a competitive salary range of $108,800 - $163,200 CAD per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes training and onboarding sessions to ensure your success in your new role.
Please note that some evenings/weekends and travel within Canada may be required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic Group Head communications plans
- Lead internal and external communications planning and execution
- Act as a senior relationship manager and strategic comms advisor at executive tables
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to shape engagement opportunities for the Group Head
